Sports and the Gospel

Sports is something that captivates us in a way that other things do not. We love the possibility of the impossible happening. We love the unscripted drama unfolding before our eyes. It is not just that the fans do not know what is going to happen next, but the actual participants have no idea either. We can always be one moment away from history.

There are so many connections between our faith and sport. Sport draws out so many illustrations and opportunities to understand the gospel that I wanted a place to collect those stories and thoughts. My hope for this blog is to be a collection of the sports stories and themes that come across my eyes.
